No, the AOSU solar-powered security camera system only records events when motion is detected. It does not record when there is no activity.

Are there any fees for recording or additional features?

The Homebase offers 32GB of local storage, allowing for around 120 days of loop recording for a 2-Cam kit and 60 days for a 4-Cam kit. There is no need to purchase an SD card, and there are no hidden fees. Optionally, you can purchase cloud storage if you require additional storage space.
